Sachem and Baxter are in today for Beyond the 7th Fire and were talking about Sachems trip to the Yawanawa villages. Sachem shares the experience he had traveling 5-7 hours on the Rio Gregorio to get in and out of the Amazon. He shares an experience he had fishing, and talks about the community effort the Yawanawa engage with to support each other. Baxter has a story about fishing for eels and other thoughts about how the Aboriginal Peoples of Australia have the knowledge on controlling brush fires and also talking about how wolf puppies know how to play fetch.
