Bringing Awareness to Dream Community in Kingston and beyond
Dreams represent one of our most democratic modes of expression – All ages, all societal levels, all cultures, and animals dream. Dreams can guide us toward innovative ways to heal the challenges we face. Dreams are gifts that provide us with clues to our feelings. There will be lively discussions with artists, healers, and musicians from the Hudson Valley, meditations that help us learn from our dreams, and a musical dreamscape curated by Jaguar Mary X The show will have strong creative elements focusing on dream-inspired writings, poetry, musical compositions and songs. The focus is not dream therapy or dream interpretation. Rather, Dream Life Radio explores “deep dreaming,” as IONE says, “Dreams are our deepest source of Creativity.”
For over 29 years, the Ministry of Maåt (MoM) has presented Ione’s Annual Dream Festival – an international celebration of dreams and dreamers curated by Kingston-based author and dream specialist IONE. With the Dream Festival, “We are honoring dreams as the source for creative solutions of all kinds leading to world harmony and balance,” IONE states. The Festival celebrates dreams with presentations of music, drumming, performance, virtual international residencies, art workshops for kids, and adults, and dream telling!
This year we celebrate its 29th year with the theme The Future is Now. This year’s Dream Festival asks the question: “How can our lives be more like our best dreams?” This global community event is inclusive of everyday dreamers and all inspired beings.
