About the Show
Before the first shadows crossed the morning floor, we dreamt. Awake or asleep, we still attain that original freedom when we’re immersed in our own thoughts and visions. On Sunday nights, Matt Pond and Chris Hansen bring you In Dreams, a show that features a series of short segments of your spoken dreams surrounded by blocks of their favorite dreamy music — from soul to shoegaze, film scores to jazz and more. They’ll take you on an abstract journey into the things that connect us all: our dreams, visions, memories, desires, laid over an original score by the show’s creators.
This is an experiment in hope. It grows beyond anything we can foresee. It seeks the connection between every one of us — it is a collaboration. Listeners moved to contribute their own voices are invited to record and submit their dreams at indreams.space/record.
