Director of Communications and Community Engagement Giselle Manzano sits down with three Hudson Valley artists whose work explores how fragments become whole. Nathan Gwirtz (ceramic artist creating ornate vessels), Pat Horner (multidisciplinary artist and author of Loving Scott), and Robert Ohnigian (collage artist transforming found materials) share their creative journeys, what drives their work, and how art functions as creative healing for individuals and community.
Their exhibition “Parts and Pieces: A Conversation in Collage, Pottery, and Memory” opens Saturday, January 24, 4-6pm at the Apuzzo Hall Gallery at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center. Free admission.
