Tonight, we had two extremely interesting interviews. The first was with Bruce Ledewitz, the author of a book called "The Universe is On Our Side". Bruce , as a Law and Religion Professor shared with us his theories on the loss of faith in our country and the world is having a profound effect on us and or mental attitudes towards good vs evil or as Bruce mentions......Is the Universe on our side?'
The second interview was with Katie Cokinos and Guy Reed.......two filmmakers who collaborated on two films - "Water Keeps Time" about the history of Saugerties as it relates to the Esopus Creek and the Hudson River........and a short film "How the World Looks Now" narrated by Lew Gardner portraying Joseph Cooper. This film philosophises the effect on the people of the world when first seeing the Apollo 8 pictures and the sense of how insignificant we are in the "big picture" which is the universe at large.
