About the Show

Satellite Of Love is a weekly advice show hosted by interdisciplinary artist Rakel Stammer. Each Tuesday Rakel gives advice to the yearning hearts of the Hudson Valley, offering them a place to contemplate the difficulties of relating. Drawing on feminist and radical theory and her experience in queer-feminist and labor organizing, Rakel weaves together a nuanced perspective rooted in a well of knowledge on the topics of power and consent.

Beyond giving advice, she will serve as a guide for the listeners as she dives into topics that shed light on the drama of human relationships, and hopefully, we’ll come out a little wiser.
