Today on WGN we had a packed house. We chopped it up about two spectacular events this weekend. First is THRIVE FEST (). We had the pleasure to speak with Jesse Sarubbi Chief Program of Family Services and Melissa Lucas Family Services Event and Communications Manager. They were here to tell us about their collaboration for mental and physical wellness. Thrivefest and Fifty2endstigma.org. This event combines Wellness Fair and a 52-mile run with Jesse to raise awareness.

Second, we had the fam in the house. Missy "CK" McGhee Director of Mental Health and Wellness Division and Winston Queen Director of Operations for My Kingston Kids. They were here to give us all the info for Halloween Fest and Parade that is going on this Saturday and Sunday. The theme this year is Wizards and Sorcerers.  This festival is in its 9th year (4yrs for the parade),   has continued to grow. And this year they are unveiling The Sensory Safe Zone. Missy explains some of the activities that will be taking place. Then Winston let us know about MKK new collaboration with Wayfinder Experience. Co-Owner Trine Boode Petersen and her team will be providing an interactive Halloween experience like only they can!!!!

Last but not least you know we dig in the crates and put out a couple of old school jams.
