Anna Brett and Ken Brett

About Ken Brett:

I have been co-host with Bill Yosh on the Irish Show on Radio Kingston/WKNY since 1984. As I continue to co-host the Irish Show, it will always be as a continued celebration of Bill’s life, spirit, and our thirty-seven years of laughter together. It was a grand time and I would not have missed it for the world.

I am very excited to have Anna Brett, my co-host in life, join me as my co-host on the Irish Show on Radio Kingston. Anna brings a great energy and enthusiasm to the Irish Show and a love of all things Irish.

About Anna Brett:

I am a retired Principal from Kingston City Schools. I am very active in our community serving on the SUNY Ulster Board of Trustees, Friends of Historic Kingston Board, Live Well Kingston Commission, Ulster County Italian American Foundation Board, St. Joseph’s Parish Council, Junior League of Kingston Board, Northern Dutchess Hospital Patient Advisory Council, Twaafkskill Golf Club Board and a proud member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

It is a great honor and pleasure that I continue as co-host of The Irish Show with Ken Brett. Over the years, I have greatly enjoyed listening to the blarney of Bill and Ken and have been inspired by the wit and wisdom of my dear buddy, Bill Yosh. He will always remain in my mind and in my heart.

About Bill Yosh:

Aug. 29, 1945 – Feb. 7, 2021

“His humor was legendary. So was his love of Irish music. Dad was the proud cohost of The Irish Show on WKNY/Radio Kingston for 37 years. Every Sunday morning, people would tune in to listen to Dad and Ken Brett joke and fulfill song requests from their “fan base. Dad, who insisted he had a face for radio, loved his Irish Show business cards and would always have a dog-eared card in his wallet “just in case.””
