Callie Mackenzie

Callie Mackenzie is the host of Night Rise, a weekly music program Wednesday nights at 9. Callie is a community organizer who has been organizing around issues of gender equality, worker’s rights, and human rights since middle school.

Callie is also a musician – dabbling in many instruments and settling into guitar, percussion and vocals.

They enjoy going to music festivals with their  family – a place where we can all experience joy and communal  living. With a deep appreciation to Jam Bands and Funk influence from the festival scene, Callie enjoys finding new music each week, and digs into old favorites, too, each week during Night Rise.
