Ida Hakkila

Ida Hakkila has hosted The Heavy Light Show at Radio Kingston since August 2020, and was at Radio Woodstock for the previous ten years. She’s been a DJ in New York City at 92-3 K-Rock, Q104.3, and WNYU. She’s been a storyteller with The Moth, and a music consultant for The Late Show with David Letterman, where she also wrote a few jokes. She is Radio Kingston’s Imaging Director, and she’s also a comedy writer, singer and a very good tooth whistler. She lives in Kingston with her husband, their son and a very sweet old cat.
