Rachel Loshak

Rachel Loshak is the host of Stories On Sundays, a program for children and families featuring stories and songs from fairy and folk tales to myths and legends as well as stories with a connection to our local heritage and history.

Rachel is a singer, a songwriter, a bass player, a Waldorf teacher, a mother and is the wife of Morgan Taylor, host of Radio Kingston’s show Radio Cake. Morgan and Rachel live in Kingston and are active as local artists and musicians.

Rachel has enjoyed a lifetime of working on creative projects, be it her own music or her husband’s childrens creation, Gustafer Yellowgold. Rachel recently worked with local songwriter/producer, Dean Jones, on their collaborative project, The Moonlights, an album of songs inspired by our natural world for children and families.

Rachel currently teaches second grade at Mountain Laurel Waldorf School in New Paltz, where she is delighted to be bringing stories and songs to the children in her class. She is thrilled to be a part of Radio Kingston, and to be telling stories on the air waves!
