It's always a privilege to host writers on the Green Radio Hour and tonight is especially fitting because we're talking with three local poets about new work most of which could be classified as 'nature writing.' Will Nixon is poet and also publisher of Bushwhack Books, which birthed the books we'll hear from tonight ("If Not In Heaven, Then in Saugerties"); Richard Parisio is a longtime educator and D.E.C. naturalist ("Trailside Register"); and Guy Reed, fittingly is a guy who reads ... and writes. ("Time Under the Overlook"). Conversation ranges from the romance of trains and quarries to the oft appearances of ravens and crows in their respective writings.
