As we await a required third, five-year review of how the PCB mess is being cleaned up -- or not cleaned up -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand came to Albany and stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Hudson Valley advocates for a clean Hudson River calling for the agency to follow the science. (The science says to-date PCBs are not disappearing fast enough from either the river or aquatic life.) So far her "demands" have elicited no public response from the EPA. Behind closed doors? We wait.
