Happy Wednesday, friends! Today on La Voz with Mariel Fiori, it's a day for education and family.
I've shared several updates and local news. As many of you already know, starting Monday, March 2nd, Radio Kingston will have a traditional radio program, Monday through Friday, with six full-time announcers. Today on Let's Meet Radio Kingston, we're introducing Jami Smith, who, starting March 2nd, will host an informative and musical show from 2 to 6 pm.
And what about the Spanish-language programs? You'll be able to find us on our own digital platform 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, with the programming you already love to hear on our new website: RadioKingstonEnEspanol.org. La Voz with Mariel Fiori will air Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 11 am on the new digital radio platform.
I also spoke with Giselle Manzano Ramirez, the newly appointed Director of Communications and Engagement at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, about her new role and the center's latest news.
