Good Friday, friends! Today on La Voz with Mariel Fiori we are broadcasting live from the Hannah Arendt Conference at Bard College on Tribalism and Cosmopolitanism.
Hillary Harvey, Communications and Program Manager at the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and Humanities spoke to us about the 16th Annual International Conference, How can we imagine a pluralist politics?
In her column Speaking from the heart, What they didn't tell us, teacher Maritza del Razo taught us what she has learned on the first day of the conference.
I also spoke with two of the panelists who presented today, Mandar Apte and Phillip "Rock" Lester, who spoke about their work against gang violence in Los Angeles, tribes with a lot of trauma to heal.
