Happy Friday, friends! Today on La Voz with Mariel Fiori, we're broadcasting live from the 17th Hannah Arendt Lecture at Bard College.
With dozens of panelists and hundreds of participants, this year's theme is Joy, Loving the World in Dark Times. Roger Berkowitz, founder and academic director of the Hannah Arendt Center for Politics and the Humanities, spoke about the event.
We met Juan Ignacio Cáceres, Bruno Narez, Inés Laca, Camila Gómez, and Olivia Henderson, undergraduate students in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at the University of Montevideo, who are attending the conference.
Also, in her column What They Didn't Tell Us, educator Maritza del Razo told us about what she has learned from Teju Cole and his Operation Lightness.
