Today on Nuestros Cuentos, we broadcast live from the LOUD Event, a Wellness Day.
From the RUPCO Landmark, this community space where the Community Wellness Day was held, was organized by LOUD Latino Outreach Unity and Development.
Sugely and Alessandra told us how the idea of dedicating a space to self-care and well-being came about. María Cecilia, a Reiki therapist, along with the team from the free Holistic Health Clinics, provided services to the community. We also enjoyed hand massages, and Andrea Lubrano, a nutritionist and chef, taught us healthy recipes.
It was a wonderful afternoon where food, vegetables, and raffle prizes were shared with the community, along with a visit from Santa Claus, marking the beginning of the Christmas season.
