River and JMX talk about mutual aid from the perspective of nurturing intergenerational connections. Gaps in knowledge and understanding may be lessened through communication and humility. Mutual aid is the sharing of resources, as well as the flow of information. Lessons learned during conflict and difference strengthen future generations. River shares information about an upcoming skill-share at the AJ Williams Meyers African Roots Center. Learn how to mend, sew and make patches at the Center on Friday May 8th from 5-7pm.
