Rachel grew up going to see all the classic musicals on London’s West End because of her Aunt Myra’s performing career. The best part was going to the stage door after the performances, and being able to go in front of the crowds and proudly say, “Myra Sands has invited us backstage”, and walking right in and being introduced to all the cast members!
Rachel took a moment on the morning of Myra’s 80th birthday party to sit at her kitchen table and listen to her talk about her path in the theatre, tell a story, a few poems, and even sing her favorite audition song!
