Micah: 

Hip Hop is my first love. Born 1975 in Mt.Vernon NY, I feel like Hip Hop was there from the beginning of my life. I have felt deeply for it as not just a style of music, but as a culture. I have listened to it, been taught by it, have written papers on it, had deep conversations about it, especially with my own son.

Gopal:

I have grown up with Hip Hop. Before I even knew my father listened to it, I can remember listening. Being introduced to his collection, knowledge and love only deepened my own connection as we would discuss the best MCs, best producers, who worked with who, and what the influence of Hip Hop has been on the world.
