Sophie Ackoff is Vice President of Policy & Campaigns at the National Young Farmers Coalition (Young Farmers), a grassroots network of young farmers, ranchers, and supportive consumers fighting for the future of agriculture. Sophie leads state and federal campaigns at the Coalition, mobilizing young farmers across the country to make their voices heard and tackle the structural barriers they face. She has helped farmers in 43 regions launch and grow chapters of Young Farmers. Sophie studied Biology and Environmental Studies at Wesleyan University and has farmed on several CSA farms in the Hudson Valley of New York.
