⅛ teaspoon black pepper
⅞ teaspoon cloves
1 cinnamon stick
2 or 3 cardamom pods
Coconut milk
Honey, maple syrup, or agave
Yield: 4 cups (940 ml)
(1.2 L) water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 25 minutes. Strain off the plant materials using a fine-mesh sieve. Discard the plants and retain the tea. Add the coconut milk and honey to taste. Store prepared tea in the refrigerator. It has a shelf life of I to 2 days.
