Nuestros cuentos // OUR STORIES
Nuestros Cuentos is a show focused on the Kingston community, where we will recreate interculturality (equitable interaction of different cultures and the possibility of generating shared cultural expressions), through stories, histories, tales, poems, and traditions. Also through music, songs, and other ways that allow expressing the feelings of the communities and cultures that inhabit Kingston and its surroundings.
We will have guests who are part of the community, to talk about their stories, experiences, and learning, in this city and in their places of origin, recreating their ancestral traditions in a fun and creative way.
The program begins with a historical review, ephemeris of a story writer or literature, or a representative character of the region or a member of the community. The resources that we are going to use can be, stories, anecdotes, fables, stories of the guests, also poems and songs, and music representative of the cultural diversity of Kingston.
We end with a reflection and additionally, an invitation is made to allusive events in the community, depending on the moment, the season, or the current celebration where the program is presented. Our Stories bring to the community a Voice of love and Light in their lives, making the inhabitants of the region feel recognized and can express themselves and identify from their stories.
